Rare Founders Embraces the Spooky Season with a Spectacular Startup Bash! 🎃👻

Despite a last-minute venue cancellation and the emergence of copycat events, RareFounders - The London Startup Scene triumphed once again, hosting a spooktacular networking and pitching event that embraced the Halloween spirit. 🎉 It was a night where founders and investors proved that serious business can be seriously fun!

Our attendees took the dress-up challenge to heart, donning costumes that were as creative as their business ideas (check out the photos to see the fantastic efforts! 📸). I may have gone overboard with my disguise, ditching my glasses, and becoming incognito for the evening. 😎🕶️

We kicked off with an insightful interview with Kenneth Kashif Thomas from Backfuture, diving into the investment landscape for early-stage founders and prospects for the coming year. 📈 Then, over 20 founders took the stage, sharing their innovative businesses with an eager audience. 👥

A highlight of the evening was our Halloween costume contest, with Jane Fisher, Dec McLaughlin, and Carl Peterken snagging top honors and some stellar prizes—meetings with a VC and a financial model review. 🏆🎉

While we missed our event sponsor, Daniel Atherton of Dune Technology Ltd, the team and I held down the fort, spreading the word about the remarkable services his development team offers.

A heartfelt thanks to our dedicated team and volunteers, whose tireless efforts make these events possible: Naim Mustafa, Cynthia Kesington, and the whole crew. Your dedication is the heartbeat of RareFounders. 👏❤️

Kudos to Anthony Rose and the SeedLegals team for their unwavering support—it’s partnerships like these that fuel our community’s growth. 👍

The Dockside Vaults served as our venue, a spacious underground haven that comfortably accommodated our crowd of enthusiasts. With exceptional service and a record bar take, it’s no wonder they set the bar high for hospitality. 🍻 (For venue inquiries, hats off to Ben Gamble MBA).

As the dust settles and the echoes of laughter fade, we look forward to the next gathering. In the meantime, enjoy the video recap—kudos to Naim for crafting a watchable online gem. 😜🎥

Until next time, keep innovating, keep networking, and who knows, maybe keep those costumes ready for another round!

Thanks to our sponsors and partners
